Redesign Schools Louisiana is a non-profit organization that serves Louisiana-area schools, children, and families. RSL provides all students an equitable, high quality public education aimed at igniting success in our student’s next phase of learning in high school, college, and life. We firmly believe that all students can grow and thrive when individual needs are met in an urgent environment of high expectations. We also understand and perform the critical role of positive adult-child relationships, technology integration, and parental involvement. Our mission is to provide schools where students thrive in an atmosphere of high expectations and engaging curriculum with challenging learning activities. While we incorporate a diligent focus on student achievement across core academic areas, our schools seek to develop the “whole child” via engaging programs in the performing arts, chess and technology. Our vision is to ensure that every child learns how to learn, and by achieving success and maximizing his/her individual potential, each student develops a love of lifelong learning that will lead to success in rigorous high schools, colleges and meaningful careers. Our qualified staff similarly engages in a continuous quest to develop and strengthen their own practices through intensive professional development, collaboration, support, and reflection.
