Louisiana Key Academy (LKA) is Louisiana's premier school for students with dyslexia. We are a tuition-free public type 2 charter school whose mission is to serve the community at large, to educate and remediate children with dyslexia in an evidence-based curriculum, and to stand as an excellent model and resource for other schools and communities. Highlights of our program include free screening and evaluation for dyslexia through our admissions process, small class sizes for reading and math, teachers who are trained to work with dyslexic students, and a full day of specialized instruction tailored to the needs of the dyslexic child. LKA celebrates students' strengths and remediates their weaknesses to prepare them for a successful life.
