Mission Statement

Democracy Prep Baton Rouge believes in approaching discipline through the lenses of Purpose Over Power and Anti-Racism. We utilize a Tiered Behavior System that prioritizes relationship building and the use of proactive strategies as a means of maximizing scholars’ time in class. Through clear and purposeful expectations, Behavior Intervention Plans, Family Conferences, and scholar incentives, we aim to create a culture of high support and high expectations.

We are accepting scholars in grades K-8 for the 2021-2022 school year.

All scholars are welcome, including scholars with special educational needs and English Language Learners.

We offer a 100% Virtual Learning as needed by the community.

There is no tuition to attend our school and transportation is provided for every scholar.
